Kegans journey to recovery

Donation protected
I'm making this gofundme for a few of my friends. Kegan is the sole provider for their family as Samantha is a stay at home Mom. Kegan recently was in a body building competition,  and that's when everything went down hill. Please keep their family in your thoughts and prayers as this is going to be a long road to recovery and tight financially. If you're willing and able to help them, they'd greatly appreciate it! Below is a statement from his wife, Samantha.

On Wednesday October 18th Kegan started having some pain in his shins, he thought they were shin splints and figured they’d go away, but they didn’t, they only got worse. Thursday and Friday he could barely walk on his left leg so he tried to get into the urgent care but it was too late and they were no longer accepting urgent care patients so he went back home and endured the pain until Saturday when he went to urgent care again. While at the urgent care they told him he had compartment syndrome and needed to go to the ER immediately. He went straight to the ER where they told him he had a skin infection and sent him home. He came home in so much pain he could barely stand it, then next day he got up out of bed and went straight to the ER knowing something was not right. He demanded An X-ray and MRI, and sure enough there was something wrong. He underwent 3 surgeries and has his 4th surgery scheduled for Monday October 30th. They have taken out half of his muscle that supports his shin and foot. And are hoping the remaining muscle stays alive so they can stitch his leg up Monday and send him home. If the muscle dies they will have to remove it, stitch him up, let him heal and then in a few months he will need to do a muscle transplant where they will take muscle from his calf and use it to replace the muscle they had to remove. They still don’t know what caused this compound syndrome. Kegan will be out of work for a while and we don’t know what to expect from medical bills.
