This campaign was started by friends and family of Jaime Rubio Sulficio for the benefit of his family while they fight to Keep Jaime Home. 

Jaime Rubio Sulficio is a father, husband, community volunteer, dance instructor, and business owner.  In March 2019, he was received into Sanctuary at Saint Mark's Episcopal Cathedral in Seattle in order to preserve his family unity and seek a legal remedy to allow for a stay of deportation.  He courageously makes this decision in order to not be separated from his U.S. citizen wife and young son and torn apart from the community he has called home for more than a decade. 

While grateful for the solidarity of sanctuary, he has been unable to work since March.  Without Jaime's ability to work, his family faces financial difficulty to cover the cost of ongoing legal expenses, daily living expenses, and physical and mental health care costs. Jaime's journey in Sanctuary has only just begun and it is hard to know how many months he will be unable to work. 

While it is not easy ask for support, the family knows they cannot Keep Jaime Home without broad community support. A financial contribution will help offer the family some stability during this challenging and uncertain time in their effort to remain together as a family. All donations will go directly to the family.
