Keep It Wild CIC was set up by conservationists and like-minded individuals to coordinate and fund land purchases for conservation &/or re-wilding, ecological research, and environmental education. We want to create wildlife-havens in our overworked and depleted landscape
Following the successful crowd-funded purchase of our water meadow at Pancrasweek on the banks of the river Tamar we are teaming up with dance artist and teacher Adam Benjamin as partners in Dancers Forest
Our intention is still to purchase land for conservation and/or rewilding but now we are adding the prospect of dance and other forms of artistic expression to work in and with the wild spaces we conserve. To be inspired by the land we nurture and bring that inspiration to others in the form of dance, music, poetry, art and more.
We intend to take our time to find the right land but, whether it is existing forest that we can preserve or a depleted copse that we can revitalise it will be a source of inspiration for everyone.
