Keeping Dani at Hope College

Hello friends,

If you haven't met her already, this is our dear friend and roommate Daniela Aguliar. She is by far one of the kindest people I have ever met, her love for life is unparalleled and every day she teaches us what it is to be a true friend. She works so hard to take care of all of us, but today it is our turn.

Dani was born in El Salvador, but when she was in middle school gang violence in her community had gotten so bad that her family left most of what they had and fled to Honduras. For the past three years she has been attending Hope College here in Holland, MI in order pursue a degree in Environmental Engineering. She is incredibly smart and talented, however, due to some very long and painful battles with maintaining her mental and emotional health, her grades from last semester were posted later than her government wanted. Because of this, they have taken away her scholarship to stay at Hope College. She only has one more year left, but order for her to continue she needs to find a way to pay back the past three years' tuition in a terrifyingly short amount of time.

We created this page order to help take some of this burden off of her shoulders and to show her just how loved she is. We understand that most cannot give a lot,  but every donation helps and we are so grateful that you have taken the time to listen to our story.
