My name is Mother Maria, and I am appealing for help to raise £13,200 to replace a broken water pump at the Marian Missionary Retreat Centre.

Our Retreat Centre is a place of prayer, peace, and welcome for individuals and groups seeking rest and spiritual renewal. Unfortunately, we are now facing an urgent situation. Our main water pump, which is over 30 years old, broke down in June and again in September. Engineers have confirmed that it has reached the end of its lifespan and must be replaced.

At present, only one temporary repair is keeping our water supply running. If this remaining pump fails, the Retreat Centre will be left without water, making it impossible to continue welcoming guests or maintaining daily life.

The funds raised will be used entirely to replace the water pump system and secure a reliable water supply for the future of the Retreat Centre.
