Keeping Our Kids Focused!
OBJECTIVE- To provide a no cost, home workspace for lower income Leominster, MA students learning in a remote, hybrid or traditional format. UPDATE 1/4/21- 102 Desks & Chairs Delivered Thanks to You!
These days, many local families are prioritizing their resources to other expenses and may be unable to purchase a desk for their student. Our hope is that this program helps provide a little relief.
GOAL- Material costs for a single desk is $30.00. Thanks to your generous donations, we've added a chair that costs $20.00 as well. Labor and expertise are provided by a dedicated(and growing!) group of volunteers. We'll also have some costs of replacing tools/bits that we wear out during the build.
UPDATE ON GOAL 1/4/21 Our initial goal was to raise enough money to build 100 desks. Your generosity allowed for 102 desks and 91 chairs to reach our students. Thank You!
***Covid-19 continues and Student Need is not slowing.....our latest goal is to supply 100 more students before the end of this school year. We need your help to get there!
All money raised goes to costs of materials and tooling. Every little bit helps and we appreciate EVERY contribution from the Leominster community!

Who could have predicted 2020? We've already heard stories of kids studying on their beds, on the floor and more often, at the kitchen table having to compete with the sounds of a sibling's online studying. All of these scenarios are impacting our students' ability to focus on their learning.
Also, a note to our Leominster teacher friends- we hear your frustrations and hope helping the students' focus provides you some very small relief. Keep doing what you're doing and thank you...we're in this together and we'll get out of this together!
