<div>We would have to officially export it from the USA, then import it, have it inspected, and upgraded to current Canadian standards before we can get it licensed and insured.

<div>To do so, we need to pay off the loan—no US company is going to allow their loan security to permanently leave the USA.

<div>And we can't just sell it for the current balance due, which is pretty standard for car loans.
</div>

<div>To pay off the loan, keep the car, pay the exporting, importing, upgrades, and registration expenses we need about US$12,000.
