<div>Help McKemie Place Keep Its Doors Open
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Retiring Our Debt. Securing Our Doors. Protecting Every Woman We Serve.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our Goal: $550,000
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Since opening our doors in 2007, McKemie Place has been a place of safety, hope, and new beginnings for women experiencing homelessness throughout Southwest Alabama.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What began by sheltering fewer than 100 women in our first year has grown into a vital emergency shelter serving women throughout Mobile, Baldwin, and Washington counties.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, McKemie Place can provide a safe place for 60 women at a time, with five bedrooms, seven showers, meals, support, and a path toward independence.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But keeping those doors open comes with a significant financial burden.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We Need Your Help to Secure Our Future.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our goal is to raise $550,000 to pay down our remaining debt and protect McKemie Place for the women who depend on us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every dollar donated brings us one step closer to becoming debt-free and ensuring that women who have nowhere else to turn will continue to have somewhere safe to go.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your gift helps protect more than a building.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It protects a bed.
</div>
<div>It protects a meal.
</div>
<div>It protects a shower.
</div>
<div>It protects a woman who may have nowhere else to turn.
</div>
<div>It protects hope.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Since opening our doors, more than 5,000 women have been served by McKemie Place. We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, because homelessness doesn't keep business hours.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Will You Help Us Keep the Door Open?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Whether you give $25, $50, $100, $500, or whatever you can afford, your contribution matters.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you cannot donate, please share this campaign with your family, friends, churches, businesses, community organizations, and social media networks.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Together, we can retire our debt, strengthen McKemie Place, and make sure that when a woman has nowhere to go, there is still a door open for her.
