My name is Lucia, and I'm asking for funds in regards to my family. For the past ten years we've lived in a simple home, one that we thought would be ours forever. Unfortunately, due to the combination of the economical and welfare changes that Donald Trump has enacted during this term, we began to sink. Everything was stressful, but ultimately doable until my mother suffered a heart attack, which she thankfully survived.

The medical debt was simply too much on top of everything else. There is realistically no way to save our home any longer. We are going to have to sell it. Unfortunately, medical debt waits for no one, and the sharks want their pound of flesh.

I ask for your help today to help us keep our home long enough to be able to sell it. If the goal is met, we will be able to stay homed and safe for the interim until we're able to find shelter elsewhere without needing to worry about being hounded by collectors.
