Keeping Cindy afloat during Chemo
Donation protected
My friend Cindy was feeling exceptionally tired and thought she had the flu. She was in bed for 3 weeks while going back and forth to the doctor's, who requested blood work. They sent her to a hematologist with the results and so her unplanned journey began. Cindy was diagnosed with Acute Leukemia and was hospitalized last week. She started her first Chemo session on Friday August 17 and has 6 more days of treatment (168 hours) of slow drip therapy. She will be at Orlando Regional Hospital for a month and unable to work for several months after treatment. She will need help to make all her monthly bills, including rent and health insurance payments, during this time. She was able to make arrangements for all her furry friends to be taken care of and her mobile pet grooming business has been taken over by several local mobile groomers during her leave. Thank you to all for your help. She is upbeat and confident in the treatment plan they have arranged and is asking for prayers, as well, to help defeat the monster inside her.
With this go fund me page I am hoping to help alleviate the stress of keeping her household going and the high cost of insurance during her treatment. Giving her the peace of mind to concentrate fully on getting better.
