My sweet friend Barbara Johnson is an incredible human being. She is raising two beautiful girls as a single mom, and also working and fighting for her dreams. About a year ago she opened her own Dog Spa, not only because she loves dogs, but also because she is an exceptional groomer. It took a lot of work and persistence to start her business, and things were picking up slowly, slowly. Customers were loving her work and they started to come back. Sadly, about three months ago, she started getting sick, unabled to walk, and developed tremors. She was at Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital for the past three months, and was recently trasfered to Emory Hospital in Atlanta because there were no concrete answers nor a clear diagnosis for her condition. Her two daughters, Hailey (15) and Stella (12) have been staying with us in our home while Barbara’s business is being run by two part-time groomers. Unfortunately, the business has slowed down in the past months because customers want Barbara and this has impacted her finances as she has now run out of her little savings.

How can we help Barbara? Please help us pay for her already 3-month behind rent ($5k), car payment ($1k), insurance ($600), utilities ($1k), and bills ($2k). This will sustain her while she gets a diagnosis and gets back home to start doing again what she loves: raising her two daughters and grooming dogs! As a married mom, I can only imagine what she might be going through, but I want her to know that there is good and kindness in this world. Please help me lift her up through this difficult time.
