Thankfully, no one was killed, and Godwin was able leave the hospital with no major injuries after getting checked out. Doctors have ordered him to stay home and recuperate for at least a week, and the truck he was using that day is totaled.  Godwin has fought through so much during the recent shutdown to keep his restaurant going, and he's supported <a href="https://www.fox2detroit.com/news/feed-the-frontlines-detroit-program-boosting-morale-for-essential-workers-and-restaurateurs" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Feed The Front Lines</a> , <a href="https://www.freep.com/story/entertainment/dining/2020/04/27/rescue-detroit-restaurants-feed-healthcare-heroes-adds-eateries-good-cause/3034793001/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Rescue Detroit Restaurants Feed Healthcare Heroes</a> , <a href="https://www.modeldmedia.com/features/payitforward-chef-initiative-041720.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pay it Forward</a> , and several other initiatives.
