Keep Woodspring Affordable

Woodspring Apartments in Tigard Oregon have been Affordable Housing for 30 years.  January 1st residents were notified that Woodspring had exited the Affordable Housing program and current tenants were entering a three year grace period after which they would loose their rent protection and would be charged market rents.  This complex is full of low income senior citizens, many of whom have lived here for many years and being low income, can't afford to move.

We are now organizing to resist this unnecessary change and need help to cover the cost of organizing and have expenses that we need help with.  We will spend some of the money on the services of a professional organizer and the rest on supplies and expenses. 

The residents want to stay in this quiet, safe, low cost senior housing.  We expected to live out the rest of our lives here and with your support, perhaps we can yet.
