The pain and insecurity of the shock of the coronavirus on small-business owners have been overwhelming. Entrepreneurs have taken extreme steps to stay operational, and many are deeply worried about their prospects in the coming months and beyond.
Among the shades of those small-businesses hit by the pandemic, there are some special companies in Sweden which offer unique experiences to guests from all over the world: These athletic dogs offer humans to enjoy swedens winter-wonderland in a way nothing else provides: calm, environmental friendly and overwhelmingly.
Now primarily those amazing dogs need our attention, they should not suffer in any way from the pandemic, they should get our full attention during the pandemic crisis.
“We are now open, but pretty much all events throughout the end of the year, including holiday parties have been canceled,” says one of the owners of a tourism sleddog kennel. “It will be a long year for us.”
But help is out there. Federal, state and local governments, as well as communities, corporations and foundations have stepped up with financial resources.
For a small business trying to stay afloat during the shock of the coronavirus, every little bit of financial aid can have a bearing on their future.
In order to help those kennels to cope with the coronavirus pandemic, we started to found an organization the ARCTIC SLEDDOG FOUNDATION which will support those small businesses in taking care for their dogs during those hard times.
The charitable organisation is providing donations of dog-food for small-business owners running a tourism kennel and financially affected as a result of the coronavirus. But a warning: Demand is high, and the process may not be swift and not covering fully costs of dog-food for each applying kennel.
Applications are limited to provide dog-food donations to Swedish tourism businesses registered officially as companies with 20 dogs or more.
