The Omemee Curling & Recreation Centre was built in 1980. The roof of our building now needs to be repainted and sealed. We are experiencing small leaks throughout the building, most noticeably in the lounge area. We have had a specialist quote on sealing and painting the steel roof. It will cost very close to $20,000.
As a non-profit organization we do not have the finances in our bank account to cover such an expense.
By doing this repair we will be extending the life our building for the current curlers and those for many years to come.
The Omemee Curling & Recreation Centre would like to thank you for considering donating to our building.
In the event that between now and the time it takes this campaign to be successful, we find other sources of funding, we would like to guarantee that we will only use this money for other projects around the Omemee Curling Centre.
