Grayden’s call for reinforcements.

My little buddy Grayden, oldest son to Cody and Kathryn Jones, recently fell ill to a serious autoimmune condition known as Guillain-Barre Syndrome or GBS, which is characterized by ascending weakness and paralysis eventually effecting your diaphragm and consequently your breathing. He’s since been admitted to TGH and is undergoing aggressive (and incredibly expensive) treatment, including IV Immunoglobulins. It appears the steady worsening of his condition has ceased, but G-mans legs and feet are currently weak and in constant pain. He’s looking at PT for the next few weeks on top of the hospital stay.

This family needs a break. They’re as selfless as they are thoughtful and supportive to everyone they meet. Both parents serve our community with unparalleled compassion. Cody is an talented paramedic and Kathryn a profound elementary teacher. Their youngest son, Benjamin, is also in full time ABA therapy for Autism, and making leaps and bounds thanks to the love and commitment Cody and Kat possess.

Please help me in keeping their struggle minimized. The medical and emotional burden is significant enough to warrant this gofundme.. these people deserve our contribution to keep their heads up and hearts focused on the road ahead. THE BEACONS ARE LIT.
