The Miracle Ice Arena has launched a fundraising campaign to bring ice sports back to Southern Delaware. With the closing of The Centre Ice facility in Harrington, local families, athletes, and community leaders are rallying together to ensure that the next generation can skate, play, and compete close to home.

<div>Why It Matters
</div>
<div>Sussex County has been building a passion for ice sports for over two decades, now skaters ranging from six to the Salisbury University hockey team to the Delmarva Warriors (disabled veterans) will have to travel hours for ice or give up the sport they love. This campaign aims to change that by rebuilding and revitalizing a local ice facility that can serve thousands of families across the region.

From learn to play, in-house, travel, adult, school hockey leagues, figure skating programs to community events, birthday parties and public skate, the facility will offer something for everyone.
