 I built SaveYourState.com because I was tired of not knowing what was really happening in my state, and I knew I wasn't the only one. Bills get passed with confusing titles, ballot measures are worded so a "Yes" can take something away, and the information is buried across dozens of government websites.

 SaveYourState puts it all in one place, in plain English, for all 50 states: every bill in every state legislature explained simply, ballot measures with exactly what a Yes and a No vote mean, your legislators, your candidates, and official election results. You can even follow a race and get email updates.

 It's free, it's nonpartisan, it has no ads, and I will never sell your data. I want to keep it that way, and that's where you come in.

 What your gift pays for:
</div>
<div>
 - Getting the word out: advertising on Facebook, YouTube and other platforms so voters in every state know this free tool exists before they vote
</div>
<div>
 - Hosting that stays fast on election night when everyone shows up at once
</div>
<div>
 - Live bill data from every state (faster daily updates during legislative sessions cost about $2,900 a year)
</div>
<div>
 - Sending election alerts and race updates by email
</div>
<div>
 - Growing to cover more: local races, more summaries, and better search
</div>

 Every dollar helps, whether it's $5 or $500. And if you can't give, sharing this does just as much.
