Bring Rhombus home

On October 4 Rhombus was diagnosed with internal bleeding. It turned out to be a large mass on her liver. We had 2 options. Put her down and move on or give her a fighting chance to at least come home and spend the rest of her time with family. We chose surgery. They prepped her and brought her in to stop the bleeding and remove the infected section of liver.
Surgery went well but the amount of blood loss combined with her age and other overlapping complications have made recovery extremely difficult. She has made progress but there remains some issues and concerns that she may not make a full recovery or even leave the hospital.
We are asking for assistance in paying her growing medical bills. Rhombus has provided our family with almost 10 years of love loyalty comfort and protection. She has been with us through multiple moves. Our high points and low points. She helped us welcome 2 children into our family and we want to do for her what we believe is the right thing.
Rhombus has a larger than life personality. Anyone who has met her has a personal story about her. She has been more than just a pet for our family. She has bonded us together more than we could have imagined. Anything provided to help bring her home to us would be appreciated.
