Keep Penny with her Paw-rents!

Hi everyone!
We desperately need your help to keep our dog, and family member, Penny!
We are being transferred to London for work, and just found out today that bringing Penny over is going to cost 4 times as much as we were orginally told. We can't imagine living our lives without her, but cannot afford the $3,000 it will cost to get her over there. We are in the process of selling as many of our posessions as possible, but need your help raising the last $2,500.
We knew going in to this opportunity that it would not be easy, especially bringing Penny along. But leaving her behind or rehoming her was not an option for us, she simply means too much to us! We have considered backing out of the move, but that would put us out of work and without a home at this point. Which is not an ideal environment for Penny. We are also in the process of attempting to find a temporary home for her with family or friends, but this would be for at least a year and not ideal for Penny or us!
I know there are some of you out there who may think we're silly, or that this isn't a dire situation. But I cannot express to you enough how much Penny means to us, how much she means to me! She is the happiness in our lives, and the joy that fills our hearts at the end of every day. She is not simply a dog or a pet, she is member of our family. We appreciate anything you may be able to contribute, however great or small. She is our world, and we hope you will consider helping keep us together!
