Help Studio7 Stay out of the Red after CovidTimes

Donation protected
Old Towne Studio 7 is entering it's 5th year, but this past 3/4 of the year was especially difficult for entrepreneurs in Old Towne Petersburg, VA.  The studio has kept up and paid the rent every single month.   But the participants in the classes and parties haven't come back in the numbers needed ...yet.

The studio is packing up and moving nearby, in a place a bit smaller in order to try to adjust to the changes that so many of us have experienced;  and the party bookings are starting to happen.  Just not in time to pay the bills for this last month at this spot.  A friend of the owners insisted that she should try out the funding request.  There's always a lot of opinions as to how it looks to do this...  and hopefully, the 'terms' and reasons below help to alleviate any doubts.

What's been going on with the studio during the last few months?  There's been virtual classes for kids, as well as some parties for both kids and adults alike.  We've had paid ones and we've done a lot of free events. There's also been changes in the neighborhood and OTS7 has been hard at work coordinating and scheduling events that benefits the entire business community as well as the artists and the individuals that live in the local area, like live music on the outdoor stage; resuming a local monthly artisan and maker market;  also, there's been relationships formed with local non-profits, preparing for the creative opportunities to help make a lasting difference in the area.  All this to say, OTStudio 7 is proud of the work that they've been putting in, behind the scenes and online.

Old Towne Studio 7 is committed to providing creative experiences for anyone who wants to explore and make... It is in everyone.  The imaginative process helps not just what we first think of as art/music, but to problem solve and to discover innovative and creative solutions.  It is a fulfilling experience, to be creative.

In order to not just "take", Studio 7 wants to "pay you back" for any generous help.  If you give at certain levels, you are invited to come paint in the future. This funding source isn't the same as kick-starter types of crowdfunding, but it seems the best short term answer, as tomorrow will be a new month.  So, hopefully, for a fair return on your 'investment' in giving to OTS7, you will take advantage of:

-for a $25 donation, please bring a child in to a children's event, like "Kids Paint, 1st Saturdays."

-for a $50 donation, adults can come in to a public paint event being taught by Denise (only).

-for a $200 donation, bring a group of 4 in for a creative event with Denise.

Please use the opportunity within 12 months;  in order for records to be kept, the donations would have to be public (not anonymous).

The money will be used strictly to pay the bills for the studio, specifically the rent.  Any extra will go to the utilites.

Any amount is appreciated, for sure.  If you feel turned off by this funding platform, feel assured that the studio understands and approached this with trepidation. ....
But nonetheless, we'd appreciate any help.  Thanks y'all!
