Keep Nick in the country

Nick had a hard upbringing. His now mother adopted him and brought him to the US with her when he was a little boy. Over the years he suffered from a addiction but he turned his life around and found recovery. He's an active member in the program, a church going man and a hard worker. Before we met he was married to a not so nice lady and got him into some trouble. Yesterday immigration took him into custody and he is facing deportation. We live in Broward county (Fort Lauderdale FL) but they took him all the way to Monroe county (Key West FL). We base our relationship on our recovery, our religion and our career. We were trying to start our own business, rebuild our lives, and get married. Now everything is placed on hold. I started this GoFundMe because I can't afford the $5,000 immigration lawyer we need to bring him home. If he goes back to South Africa he fears for his safety due to the things going on over there. I ask for your prayers first and then your donation. We ask God for forgiveness of our sins, hand Him our burdens and put it in His hands.
