Hello, I am NaTosha Allen. I am asking for temporary help to keep from being evicted. I moved home to take care of my parents in June 2019. My Dad had stage 4 cancer, diabetes, and heart problems. My Mom had kidney disease, diabetes, arthritis, and degenerative disk disease. While I was there helping them, I used my entire savings to make sure they had all the meds insurance/SSDI didn't cover, home repairs, and regular everyday expenses. My father passed away on April 19, 2024. My Momma passed away on June 15, 2024. I was their sole caregiver and devoted everything to them until their final day! I went through a really dark place mentally after they passed. I'm still struggling with pulling myself together, but I am doing better. I was under doctor's care for months and still see them regularly. I am currently working with a few local agencies to get food in my home, to find work, and get help with affordable housing. I received court papers in the mail yesterday telling me to be there on April 3, 2025, for an eviction hearing. I have some physical (medical) issues of my own that I am fighting with: spinal stenosis, degenerative disk disease, arthritis, SI injury (with QL injury), and hip issues (among others). I worked as a CNA, QMA for 19 years before my parents got sick. Due to my back and hip issues, I cannot go back to that kind of work. I am hoping to raise enough money to keep me from being evicted or help me get through until I can find work and get back on my feet. I appreciate any and all help.
