Keep my music dream alive

I am currently studying at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and working as much as my visa allows. I work 20 hours per week during term time and 40 hours during the holidays. Through this approach, I secure £14k annually, which is dedicated solely to funding my studies.
These are the legal limits for international students in the UK. If I were to exceed them, my visa could be cancelled immediately, and I would lose the right to stay and study here. However, I would gladly work more if it were allowed. It’s difficult to ask for help, because I would much rather finance everything on my own…

Studying here has been one of the best experiences of my life. I can make music every day, learn from the best teachers, and practise in some of the most beautiful and creative spaces I have ever seen. The atmosphere is incredible and I immediately have found friends who share the same passion for music.

Despite all my efforts, I can barely cover the full cost of studying here on my own, even while working as much as my visa allows me to. Without financial support, I will soon have to interrupt my studies, return to Germany and give up everything I have worked so hard for.

This dream has only just begun, and I am doing everything I can to keep it alive. Any help, no matter how small, would mean the world to me! Thank you for reading this ❤️
