Keep Moondog's Lounge Shining Bright

Anyone in our CNY community who loves live music knows that SAMMY award-nominated Moondog's Lounge has been an essential part of Auburn’s thriving music scene for many years. Owner & manager Lynn Stillman has continued to support the lifeline of regional musical performers, while creating a friendly and inviting community space for all (legal) ages to enjoy a wide range of music. Their weekly Wednesday open mic nights encourage musicians to jam in different configurations, while showcasing and honing their many talents. Then, Thursday through Saturday come on back to enjoy more live bands perform, with often two groups booked back-to-back on Friday & Saturday nights. And let’s not forget to mention, there’s no cover charge at the door- like ever! We get to dance, sing along and rock out for FREE multiple nights a week!

An annual snap shot of their entertainment docket is quite impressive- hosting 100 music acts a year, with a total payout of $55,000+ to the talent.

With the public closure of bars due to ‘Rona, and no re-opening date in sight, Moondog’s seriously needs our help now. As Lynn has created a special place for us to revel and commune, it is our turn to help sustain Moondog's so it can remain the valuable institution we love so dearly.
