I was in a unique position in where I lived above the restaurant I worked.

The company closed its doors, and I had two weeks to vacate. They have not paid their staff monies owed.

The landlord is withholding the return of my bond, despite the property being left in pristine condition when I moved.

All emergency accommodation groups are full up, or require weekly payment, which I am unable to afford.

I borrowed money from my son to pay for the first week of the backpackers hostel Im staying in, but without an income and without that bond money - I have nothing.

The owner has allowed me to stay for a week without paying, but he is making the rounds asking for monies owed - and I just dont have it.

I am actively seeking work every day, and have a few interviews lined up, but my next paycheck could be weeks away ... and thats time I just dont have.

I currently owe $300 from last week, and $300 for this week - so need at least $600 to stay.

I am looking at at least another two weeks before a paycheck, which means I require another $600 to remain safe.

Food I dont need. They have a free breakfast here, provide endless tea & coffee, plus a free pasta meal every three days. I am able to dip into the community food chest when required.
