Since June 2020 Bud's Presents #Live And Direct has broadcast 30+ live streams at no cost to the artists. These have included performances from Matthew Logan Vasquez (Delta Spirit), Greyhounds, The Deer, Jonathan Terrell, Colby Swift, Motenko, Tameca Jones, Tomar and the FC’s, Jank Sinatra, Kalu James, and many more.
For a lot of these artists, Bud’s Presents Live And Direct has been an alternative to a venue for an album release show, a weekly residency, or an intimate space for some new material-- or just a place to play live with other musicians in a safe setting.
We are here to help these musicians in our community hold on through these trying times and to help to continue to get high quality live music out to the world.
These videos have been viewed 50,000 + times and have raised thousands of dollars for the musicians.
A lot of human hours go into the production of a single live stream. While we’ve been able to generate some income for the artists we need to raise capital for basic costs: studio overhead, labor, equipment, bandwidth and website maintenance for Bud’s to keep this rolling.
