Keep Lauren Safe

Lauren is a sweet, smart, precious little girl. She sings throughout the house, singing directions for how to stay calm when going to school (or just about anything really) and loves to dance and twirl in front of her mirror. Lauren needs your help. She has been violated by the very person every little girl should only ever feel love, safety, and security. Her mom is fighting to keep Lauren away from that person. Her mom is fighting to keep 100% custody of Lauren to keep her safe from being violated again. Investigations by child protective services where she lived have been minimal, at best; saying that they couldn’t prove it was for arousal purposes when he admitted to allowing her to touch him. When a third mandated reporter, a child psychologist, reported Lauren disclosing information, protective services said it wasn’t a new incident; therefore, rejected the report. Much of Lauren’s story sounds like a horror movie. You know, one that ends with the heroine having defended herself successfully. I could offer all sorts of information to you but it would make this story way too long for what we have time for here. Let me say, there have been professionals that have testified that Lauren was violated at least twice. Lauren talks about what happened when she is upset or triggered by something that reminds her of what happened. We need your help keeping Lauren safe. Her mom has been unable to work in order to keep Lauren out of danger. The violator is now applying for custody. In order to fight this custody order, Lauren’s mom needs to be able to pay her lawyer. We have had one very generous donation that got things started, but this fight will take more than the retainer. If you can help pay for continuing costs, it will allow Lauren’s mom to continue providing, not only safety, but other life essentials for Lauren. Lauren’s mom is doing all that she can to make keep Lauren safe. Anything you can offer will help keep Lauren where she needs to be…..in the safe, loving arms.
