I want to start this go fund me page for my mentor, Boss and family!
Because before I found Koto Hair I was about to give up hairdressing, I was so fed up with an industry that didn’t value it’s people, and what is this industry really... it is people.
From the moment I walked in the door I was home, I knew that I had found my forever home, I know that sounds cheesy but it is true that is why I have been with them for over 7 years! Whenever I or anyone in the team have had a problem we know that we could go to Kristy and we would work through it and find a solution, now she is the one with the problem, how do we stay open? Kristy and Tahleaha have created a workplace that nurtures creativity in a safe environment, and that is being threatened by CORONAVIRUS.
Jobkeeper has been fantastic so we can at least provide our staff with a minimum wage, however that does not cover the rent and outgoings that are quickly accumulating in the business and its unfair that Kristy has had to pause her own mortgage just to keep on top of the salon bills:(
We have worked so hard to build this business and to watch it crumble is killing me so I am asking for any help that you can give to help save my forever home.
I know that Koto is a safe haven for not just the staff but all the amazing clients that come to us, some for over 20 years! Koto is a community meeting place that helps to make people feel good and what is more important than that at this time. We need your help to keep this community hub open. Because under Dan Andrews new roadmap and restrictions, we may not be opening again for the rest of the year!
We would be eternally grateful for absolutely any help and support and cannot wait until we are allowed back doing what we love.
