<div>Funding for Kal’s immigration legal fees etc. is needed to keep him safe and with our family here in SF. Our family just experienced a few of the most nerve wrecking weeks in relation to his immigration status that we’ve ever had.

<div>Thankfully the universe answered and Kal finally found the exact lawyer he needs for his case as a Palestinian who has been stateless since birth/ living as a refugee in diaspora his whole life.

<div>And as many of you know I am a public school special ed teacher which limits us financially-you could say ‘I bring home the bacon…bits.’ Insert our daughter’s eye roll here.

<div>All jokes aside, while it is not easy for us Leos to ask for help, the impact of detention and/or deportation would have a devastating impact, especially on our daughter who is currently not only dealing with this but so much more as well. IYKYK ❤️‍ We appreciate any amount you can spare for this first phase of legal/filing fees-if you can spare any. We know times are tough for so many. Another way everyone can help is to share this far/wide. Any action to help us prevent the possibility of detention and allow us to continue to retain Kal’s amazing badass lawyer is appreciated.
