Keep Jacen's resting place or bring him home

My name is Katrien and I live in Belgium.

I am the mom of a little angel boy named Jacen. He died 16 years ago very suddenly because his aorta ruptured. It was a very hard time for me. We buried him at the cemetery in mechelen Belgium. The funeral home told us this would be for live because he was a child. Sadly this week I got the news that it is not true and they will remove his resting place unless I can pay to keep it another 15 years. That will cost around 600 euros / dollars. I also have an option to have him removed from his resting place and have him cremated and bring him home. But that will cost me around 6000 euro / dollar because they have to dig up his remains and then go through a full cremation with a new casket and everything. I would love to bring him home so I don't have to ho this again in 15 years but I would already be happy not to lose his resting place. For people who think this is a scam.... in Belgium you rent a plot for 15 years and then they are aloud to remove it when you don't renew the consession to make room for new Graves. Feel free to look up the Belgian laws.
