<div>GOOD NEWS: A community has come together around Derrick, helping him get out of the fleabag hotel he was living at in Tampa, Florida, moving him home to Cincinnati, and helping him re-establish Ohio residency, get medical and dental treatment, and best of all, find an attorney willing to help him force Ohio to compensate him.

<div>Derrick Jamison is one of the sweetest men you could ever meet, and he needs our help. Derrick survived 20 years on Ohio's death row for a crime he had nothing to do with. Derrick has been free since 2005, but he never was able to receive compensation from the state of Ohio.

<div>Now Derrick is getting old, and he's not in the greatest of health. He's been living in a hotel room in Tampa. A group of friends and advocates have come together to help Derrick move back to Ohio and set him up in a sustainable situation so he can have the support of family and friends and a decent place to call home in what should be his "retirement" years.
