WFNU Frogtown Community Radio is a hyper-local, low-power community radio station serving people in the Frogtown neighborhood in Saint, Paul, MN since 2014. We are asking for your financial support to help keep Frogtown Radio on-air!
Recently, WFNU made it’s transition to its own non-profit! This transition, although exciting, has left us with little resources to run the station. The annual budget to run the station is $30,000. We are asking for $15, 000 to help us continue to broadcast the diverse voices of our Frogtown neighborhood.
Frogtown Radio gives our community free training on production, broadcasting and journalism skills while giving community members a platform to amplify their voices and utilize the station as a tool to promote happenings in Frogtown.
WFNU is the only station in the Twin Cities dedicated to playing local music by local artists. We offer an extensive schedule of live programming with volunteers dedicated to playing many different genres of music, talk shows, and informational shows to educate the listeners.
Frogtown Tuned-In is the newly developed 501c3 non-profit that houses WFNU and is made up by volunteers who want to make sure the community radio station stays in Frogtown and continues giving the community the platform, information, and ability to amplify their voices thru media.
Frogtown Tuned-In and WFNU are seeking your financial support so we can continue you to bring you the best in music, sports, information and develop programs that will help celebrate diversity, educate and bring awareness to our thriving Frogtown community!
