<div>Allow me to introduce you to Elijah, a 20-year-old young man who was born with cerebral palsy and a seizure disorder so he’s never been able to walk or talk. Up until this point, thanks to God’s grace, he has been fortunate enough to have a wheelchair van that has served him well. This vehicle has allowed Elijah, despite his disabilities, to venture out and experience his best life, attending special Olympics, swimming, bowling, baseball games and even summer camp. However his current van is nearly 20 years old and has unfortunately reached a point where it is no longer safe or dependable. Despite regular maintenance, the electrical system is rapidly failing leaving the van without a speedometer, without a usable key, without an air conditioning system and most recently, the wheelchair ramp broke. The van's unpredictable nature makes it nearly impossible for Elijah’s family and caregivers to transport him to the events and outings that he loves. In addition, with summer upon us, the frequent breakdowns in 100+ degree weather make it unsafe for Elijah to use this van.

<div>Elijah and his family are so grateful to have discovered a Toyota Sienna with less than 800 miles. The state of Oregon will cover the cost to install a wheelchair ramp in the Sienna, leaving them with the cost of the actual van, $ 42,000.

<div>This brings us to our GoFundMe campaign. ANY contribution is GREATLY appreciated.
