During these unprecedented times, many in-home childcare providers across the nation are suffering emotionally and financially. They are struggling to keep their programs open and support their families.
Many of the above struggles come from
low enrollment and a lack of financial
Childcare providers have been shut out of grants offered by the government. such as the Cares act and unemployment
but are still mandated to meet all program requirements.
As an early childhood/school-age trainer,I wanted to be able to lighten the burden
by helping in some way.
I would like to offer free classes to all in-home childcare providers across the
nation to decrease their expenses, but still adhere to their state training requirements. Classes will help providers increase their knowledge, maintain regulatory mandates, and improve their programs by earning certifications such as the Child Development Associate
Certification, Health and Safety, CPR andFirst Aid, and any course that can help
in the improvement of their programs.
The above donations will help me pay for online and in person courses, additional teachers, books and material, and if needed a space to host classes following social distancing guidelines.
