This gofundme is to purchase a GPS tracking device for our dear friend's Autistic son.

This is our friend Lisa and her son D. Lisa is the most dedicated, supportive, encouraging, hilarious person you will ever meet. Life has thrown her some curve balls, but she handles them with such grace, perserverance and positivity. It makes perfect sense why God chose to give Lisa and her husband Mike amazing twin boys, one of which has Autism. 

Since D's diagnosis, Lisa has fought for him to receive all of the supports that he requires. She works tirelessly with his school and does everything in her power to make sure D meets every bit of his potential. 

Lisa and Mike have a lot on their plate and plenty to worry about. One serious concern is D's safety. At home, out at the store and at school, D will flee. Just a couple of weeks ago, he jumped out a window at their house. It has come to a point where D requires a wearable GPS device so that Lisa and Mike can track his whereabouts. Unfortunately, they are unable to get any grants or funding to help with the purchase of this device! 

With all of the money these amazing parents spend on their son's therapies, it's disappointing that they have to pay out of pocket to keep their son out of harm's way. 

So, we ask, that if you have means to donate towards D's device, we know that it would be so appreciated. The device itself costs over $700 each year.

We also know that Lisa would kill us if she knew we were doing this! However, she is a giver and never an asker. We started this gofundme so she doesn't have to ask.
