<div>This month we are celebrating 40 years in business. We opened on Mother's Day, May 13th, 1984.

<div>It has been our privilege to serve our customers, both the two and four legged kind, providing a place where everyone is welcome, to bring their pets to visit and explore our store, where we love to engage in picking out a healthy treat and the perfect toy, help with tummy aches and flea meds, the right cat litter, a new harness, wild bird seed, small animal food, cat trees, dog crates, nail clippers....you name it, we have it.

<div>Sadly, the village of Glen Park has been in decline, and keeping a business going here is challenging to say the very least. Competing against big online powerhouses like Amazon and Chewy's with their endless budgets and predatory business practices is impossible.

<div>We are really struggling right now, and it's breaking our hearts to think about closing. We thought we might try to fund raise in order to keep going...

<div>San Francisco needs small businesses, they make our neighborhoods better, the city better.
