Hi everyone I’m Heather Dann owner of Create Escape Studio in Danbury Connecticut.
As many of you know Create Escape is a contemporary DIY art studio that offers pottery painting, fused glass, clay classes, mosaics, and more. We provide a space where individuals and families can come together to explore their creative sides, create memories, and get a little messy!
After working at a similar studio while I was in college, I knew that opening my own studio was something I wanted to do. I was over the moon with excitement when we opened our doors in December 2018.
During our first year in business, I enjoyed meeting new people from the community and being able to provide a place for them to come get creative and express themselves.
I have met many wonderful people from our community and surrounding towns. They are so appreciative to have a place where they can stop in, get creative, and express themselves.
It has been a true joy to see the amazing art created by our customers and encouraging them to explore new mediums and techniques and expand their artistic potential.
Unfortunately just a few months after celebrating our 1 year anniversary we had to temporarily close to customers due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We will be back! With great classes, a refreshed inventory and even more great events and artistic opportunities to the community. But, for the time being, we have no revenue coming in to pay for our fixed overhead expenses, and I am in need of your help.
I have created this page to raise money to help us to cover some of our overhead expenses (rent, electricity, gas, business insurance, internet, and phone) for the next few months.
If you are in a position to help out the studio by purchasing gift certificates, making party reservation deposits, or by means of a monetary donation to Create Escape Studio’s Go-Fund-me account, it would mean the world to me.
