Keep Cayden Safe: Fund Her Apnea Monitoring

Donation protected
Cayden has been battling Pertussis also known as whooping cough. She went to the ER on March 10th for a cough . They said she was very congested and they did a swab test for any Respiratory Infections and she was sent home. The following day, I received a call from the Board of Health telling me Cay had Pertussis, to return to the ER and that they would be admitting Cayden. Her condition worsened as time progressed and every time she would cough she would turn purple from choking and losing oxygen. From there she was given antibiotics and occasionally oxygen with suctioning to help. As the week went on Cayden was still coughing on and off but all her vital signs and test ran would come back in good standing each time. Everything was normal with her daily (eating, moving, ect). She was given her 2months shots the following week, and
everything looked well even the coughing had slowed down which was good for the "whooping episodes" she would have. On Friday March 21 after 10/11days there she was released and sent home with a monitor to track her breathing/heart. Well about 1:30 Saturday am the monitor went off and baby Cayden was limp and totally blue and purple, very unresponsive . We scrambled into action to get her to come to. My Aunt jumped into action and administered CPR on Cayden!! 911 was called as well and by the time they arrived Cayden was breathing and crying (Thank You Jesus) from there she was rushed to the hospital were more test were ran and again everything is in good standing. After a couple of days being monitored her doctors notified me that she did stop breathing for an uncertain amount of time, and that there was no treatment to prevent this from happening again. The hospital is giving her the sleep apnea machine for six weeks to help watch over her again. But after those six weeks are over, we will be responsible for payment of the machine or getting our own. As you can imagine this is a very stressful and scary situation for a first time Mom to be in. With me not working, I am unable to afford the monitor completely by myself. Any donations are greatly appreciated. Money will be put towards the apnea machine as well as any upcoming medical expenses. We thank you in advance for your support and prayers as we continue to overcome.
