Keep Cats & Dogs Cool in The Heat

Help provide air conditioning to Miami rescues!

Christina Dickson works tirelessly to rescue and/or TNR cats and dogs from the hard streets of Miami. She fosters and cares for the sick ones in her house until they’re better and can be adopted. Her air conditioning broke recently, and she really needs the help of the community to get a new or used AC unit. The animals are suffering because the heat and humidity inside the house is now 90 degrees or hotter.  do
gs are being treated for heartworm they need AC because heart problems are worse from heat. Kittens and elderly cats don’t have good temperature regulating systems, just like very young and elderly humans, and heat can be fatal or cause serious health problems.

 Dogs that are older and dogs that are sick have a particularly difficult time with heat and humidity.  When dogs are being treated for heartworm, (something Christina has done.) they need AC because heart problems get worse from heat.  Christina never stops caring for animals.  She needs our help.

Christina can take the heat! She’s often in the roughest neighborhoods of Miami day and night rescuing or trapping for TNR. Please help her cats and dogs live in some comfort and healthy conditions by contributing to her AC fund.
