Keep Calm and Pray for Cooper

ONE SHOT!!! I was reminded that we have but one shot at happily ever after in this life when one of my oldest and dearest friends passed away unexpectedly. 40 years I knew April. Friends since kindergarten.
   Exactly one week to the day my apartment caught fire due to a grease fire that had started when I was making a late night/early morning snack. I watched a small stove top fire turn into a raging inferno as failed attempts with three different fire extinguishers did not work or were empty.  Tragic does not cover what I felt as I watched the flames dance across the ceiling and an entire room go up in minutes. I still shake when I think of it. My whole life. Everything I owned was lost in a matter of minutes. I can't describe how that feels. All the encouragement in the world is needed to put one foot in front the other to start all over again. Thank you for helping me rise again. That Friday morning I lost everything but my faith in my Heavenly Father, his son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
