<div>Just as I was about to drive off to Kentucky for Cryptidcon in my 2001 Honda, our 2015 mini-van's water pump went out. Now that's only a $500-$700 part but the labor is going to push the fix well into the $2500 range and makes going out of state for a monster convention a very iffy prospect.

</div>
<div>I hate to ask for help but if we could pass the plate and possibly get some assistance from our MonsterTalk audience it would be a huge relief. I was hoping to find enough money to justify buying a newer computer for my audio editing but that's off the table with this repair eating up all our "spare" money and then some.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>(I don't even know what <em>spare</em> money is - but if just 10% of our MonsterTalk audience gave $1, this problem would evaporate in a rose-scented puff of generosity.)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Again - I *HATE* to ask, but if you like the work we do here I can assure you that my brain works better on editing Monster House projects when I'm not looking under the cushions for spare change every 10 mins.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thanks for ANY consideration towards helping out me and my family as we approach the holidays.
