<div>Hi! We are the Blue Starlite, Austin's one and only independent Drive-in movie theater. In our 15 years, we have brought much joy and fun times to new and old school Austinites. We keep Austin funky.

<div>Unfortunately, we have also been robbed a few to many times over the years.
</div>

</div>
<div>This week, we were robbed at our newest location at 500 VFW Rd. So now, we have officially been robbed at every one of our locations.
</div>

<div>And even worse, they didn't just rob a small local business, they also robbed a small local business that is on the property of the Veterans for Foreign Wars complex.
</div>

</div>
<div>One year ago, we teamed up with the VFW to <strong>keep the Blue Starlite alive into the future on their amazing property</strong>. In exchange, we share our ticket income and private party income with them. It's a beautiful Austin thing, only in Austin!
</div>

<div>So yeah, we are pretty devastated that we took another hit and to be honest, we can't really take any more hits.
</div>

</div>
<div>We already were using the last of our working equipment as due to the previous robberies we no longer have back up equipment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We will soldier on, and will do our best to stay open in the way we have been this year. But it is going to be hard. It already was hard.
</div>

</div>
<div>We hope our community will support us to <strong>replace what we lost this week</strong>. It was a lot. All our tech equipment from our main office trailer was stolen.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Blue Ray players, iPads, laptops, projectors, all our cords and AV supplies. We will be able to run a few screens at VFW this week and moving forward but until we can replace the main equipment lost we will be unable to add additional independent titles to our slate until we find solutions to our losses.
</div>
