Erika and Josh use to sell their catch on the side of the road eventually opening up their first brick and mortar. This location has given an abundance of Aloha to it’s community and travelers alike and is now nearing it’s end as an outcome of Covid-19. This is a family business, you can feel it as soon as you walk in by the way they treat and serve you. It’s been a staple to many homes and visitors from around the world over the past few years but now they are fighting to keep their doors open. Another local spot, another hole in the wall and most importantly another family... will soon be closing.
My name is Kalani Millsaps, I live outside of O’ahu and have been behind the scenes from the very beginning; I’ve designed their logo, manage their website/merch and even been extra hands at their mainland events. If I could be there now I would be. This is the only way I know how to help.
If you ever get to meet Erika and Josh you’ll soon find by a simple conversation, they are usually the ones giving. They aren’t the ones to ask and will without a doubt give until they have nothing left... and that’s exactly where they are now, so I only found it fit to ask for them. The amount of lives they not only touch but spend the time nurturing through this location is of immeasurable value. The sincerity in their hearts to serve their community is worth fighting for. So whether your donation is a simple share or equivalent to the change at the bottom of your car cup holder I can assure you they will be forever grateful.
The total asking amount is enough to cover a modest month of production but I know they’d fall to their knees in gratitude for a bucket of quarters and a hug. Please send them your Aloha and Kokua.
