Meet Ace! At 6 weeks old he got a cool dad who has been devoted to him the past 4 years. Unfortunately, his dad has hit some hard times and found himself searching for a temporary spot for Ace to land. Even asking to rehome him if it meant getting his soul dog out of the New Orleans summer heat. When a friend reached out to share his story, I was amazed by the devotion he has for Ace. While the current living situation doesn't want Ace inside the house, his dad has stayed outside for hours on end to make sure Ace is safe and cared for. And with heat advisories in effect, that is no small feat.

So, here is where you come in. Our awesome friends at Abadie Vet (now Harahan Vet) have agreed to board Ace while his dad starts saving money to get a place for them both. We know this may take a bit of time, so we are raising funds to cover a minimum of 2 months of boarding. Ace is also overdue for his annual vaccines and we want to take that burden off dad so he can use his money for a home.

Any and all donation amounts are appreciated. And any funds that exceed our goal will stay on Ace's account during his stay. If money is left over after Ace goes home, we will either donate it to the vet's Angel Fund to help any stray dogs they take in (because they are amazing like that), or will stay on Ace's account for future visits. Either way, your donations will be helping some amazing dogs in need.
