Hi, my name is Maria Del Carmen Edwards and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a humble request for help.

I’m a single mother to a beautiful 7-year-old boy who is non-verbal and on the autism spectrum. These past two months have been incredibly tough—we’ve been without any income, and I’ve completely run out of savings. I finally start a new job this Thursday, but unfortunately, it pays very little per hour and won’t come in time to cover this month’s rent.

All I’m asking for is a little help to get over this hurdle. I’m not asking for extra—just enough to cover the rent and keep a roof over our heads while I get back on my feet. I’ve attached the bill from my apartment office to be transparent.

We’ve made it through so much together, and I’m doing everything I can to provide for my son and give him stability. If you’re able to help—even a small amount—it would mean the world to us. And if you can’t donate, sharing this would help more than you know.
