<div>This past year has brought one challenge after another for my family, and I’ve reached a point where I can no longer manage everything on my own.

<div>Very recently my son was in a major car accident. Thankfully, he survived, but the recovery process will be challenging.

</div>

<div>In addition to treatment from the accident; he’s also dealing with other health issues that require ongoing treatment.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>At the same time, I’ve been dealing with my own health concerns and have an upcoming surgery that will require time off and additional costs.

</div>

</div>

<div>While we both have insurance, the copays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket expenses have added up quickly, and trying to keep up with the pace of everything has been exhausting and overwhelming.

</div>

<div>On top of all the medical stress, we’ve had a string of costly home issues. A couple of years ago, our basement flooded — something insurance didn’t cover…and am still dealing with the costs. Recently, we had to replace the garage door. We’ve had unexpected vet costs and other home maintenance issues. Each new expense chips away at what little savings I have.

<div>I’m doing everything I can to stay current on the mortgage, utilities, and everyday bills, but with so many unexpected costs, it feels impossible to catch up. I’m hoping to raise enough to:

<li>Help purchase a reliable car

</li>

<li>Cover outstanding and upcoming medical expenses for both my son and myself

</li>

<li>Relieve some of the immediate financial pressure so that my income can continue covering our basic living needs

</li>

<div>Asking for help has never been easy for me; but I’ve learned recently that life pushes you to lean on the kindness of others. Any amount will make a meaningful difference and help us find some breathing room during this difficult time.
