Keegan's Kick Cancer to the Curb

Donation protected
Keegan is a spirited, fun loving 7th grade student who has just been diagnosed with cancer last Thursday.  The mass is quite large behind his rib cage growing towards his lung.  He had been feeling a faint pain for a few months but nothing that would have caused concern.  Almost felt like a pulled muscle.  The other night he asked to be taken into the urgent care because he was having a hard time breathing without any pain.  He was immediately referred to Seattle Children's where the family was given the devasting news after several blood tests, xray, and ultrasounds that he indeed had cancer.  He had surgery within one day where they biopsied the mass to determine the exact kind of cancer (so they know what appropriate treatment to provide for that type of cancer) and also placed a port for his chemotherapy.  He will start chemo tomorrow, Monday October 16th at Children's Hospital.

Keegan's family is amazing!  His dad Jeremie an avid hunter in which his boys have followed suit-, mom Danielle who is the glue of this community-always helping others where she can and his older brother Kayden who has his mama's heart and his dad's love of the outdoors.

This family truly needs our help.  The expense alone for all the medical procedures, extended stays at the hospital, driving  back and forth to care for their older son, not to mention food costs while also trying to provide a place for Keegan to reside with close proximity to the hospital for treatments.  (The hospital has required that Keegan not be more than an hour away).  While living in Cle Elum they are just over an hour so he is not able to come home while receiving treatments over the next several months.  This road they are enduring as a family is something no one should have to go through and they need our physical, emotional and financial support!

Please help us reach our goal of $30,000 so this family can focus on what matter's-Keegan kicking Cancer's Butt!
