Keddell Family House Fire Recovery

In response to the community outreach, we have created this ‘Go Fund Me’ for Sharon & Kelly (Also known as the ‘Horse Farm’ off Mayflower & Rock). On their behalf and with their permission, we want to help them restart and re-build not just a house, but a home. They lost the majority of their belongings in a house fire June 25th, including their car, new home renovations, heirlooms, and worst of all, many of their beloved fur-babies.

Thankfully, the firefighters were able to contain the fire so it did not spread to the nearby barn full of hay and horses .. We want to give a special thanks to all those firefighters and volunteers from 12 surrounding communities who were here from early evening to early morning!

Although Sharon & Kelly got out safely, they are still trying to move forward from the initial shock. They have a long road ahead as they recover both financially & emotionally.

We never think it will happen to us, right?! Well, it hit home here and this fire started electrically, most likely caused by the power getting turned back on after the big storms a couple weeks ago. When doing this, it created a power surge and the power found its way to an unused wire in the garage that may have been exposed over time due to a little critters’ chompers. Therefore, causing the unthinkable.

Thank you to those who have already helped by volunteering their time & effort, dropping off items, or with monetary donations & prayers. An extra thank you to the neighbors who have been helping with temporary shelter. EVERYTHING HELPS! Kelly & Sharon are extremely grateful and appreciative for your love and support!
