A week before Christmas my best friend Bev suddenly became very sick. She was flown to Melbourne only to find that she has Chronic Leukemia.
She has had several blood transfusions and is undergoing high doses of Chemotherapy.
It is costing $125 per day for Wayne to stay close by to be able to visit her for 2 hours per day. Obviously being on an aged pension, the funds have ran out already so Wayne is returning to Mildura.
I cannot even begin to imagine how lonely and desperate Bev will be feeling.
I have tried every form of help I can get for them with no success until at least mid January.
I would be so very grateful if any one could spare a little cash to allow Bev the support she needs at this very difficult time.
